Can You Believe What You See About Losing Fat?

As with many of the things we do our lives, we rely heavily on our sight as a major deciding factor as to whether we believe something or not.  This is regrettably the case in attempting to evaluate fat burn programs also.  The old cliché is that a picture is worth a thousand words, right?

When we eyeball that picture of that hunk or hot babe on the cover of the hottest, latest and greatest fat loss or fitness product, something happens.  We get excited; maybe even very excited!

Sadly, this is what many in the fitness industry are preying on. They know this and exploit it to their huge advantage.  The procedure is simple:  Put a super-looking in-shape guy or a hot-body girl on a product package and it will sell like hot cakes.  These people don't even need to tell you that you'll get to look like that person -- they know your subconscious will believe it will happen.  When you're anxious to lose fat, this is an effortless game for the fitness industry to play.

Naturally, a few weeks later if the product or plan doesn't work, you will probably start to lose hope and start to realize that it's going to be tough to sustain the unrealistic and overly strict rules.  You've got a life, right?  Clearly, you want to get fit, but you've got a job, perhaps a family, and other things going on.  Now, a fat burning workout is great, but you don't need to spend hours every day for the remainder of your life working out!

The Fat Burning Furnace system by Rob Poulos is well worth a look. Click to "Get 'Unconfused' about Weight Loss and Fat Burning".

This has happened to probably millions of people, several times over.  They haven't been happy with their bodies, wanted to burn fat, and were looking for the most effective way to get trim, tough, and healthy, but while not devoting so much time at the gym, or having to follow extreme diet plans for long periods of time.

The people at Fat Burning Furnace, after more than a decade of testing, have put together some of the secrets and techniques found to work best at burning fat and taking the least amount of time, for many people they have worked with.  What led to this research was an unbelievable amount of frustration they know thousands of others were, and are, going through, right now.

What is that?  To answer that, you need to understand the psychological aspects of what we are confronting in the world of fitness and health.

What do you call repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?  OK, I'll answer this one:  Insanity!  In some ways, the fitness industry is making you insane in your quest to burn fat and get a trim, strong, and healthy body.  Their claims are too good to be true and many times they can't usually deliver on them.  They are over-promising and under-delivering in many cases.

It's a big psychological game that the fitness industry is playing, and it starts back in when we were kids.  When we were kids, we were all taught in school that we could do anything we wanted to do when we grew up.  Your parents may even have told you that you can achieve anything you aspire to if you believe in it firmly enough.

While this can supply enormous inspiration in life's pursuits, it can also be used against you by others, and without your awareness.  You are largely a product of your genetic makeup.  Just as David Spade could never play in the NFL, a guy like Woody Allen could never win a heavyweight bodybuilding competition, and Oprah will never model for Victoria's Secret (even if she did lose weight and keep it off).

The truth is that they can lose fat and get in the best shape of their life, but our genetics are responsible for much of what we end up looking like even when we get into that best shape.  But this isn't what the fitness industry will normally tell you -- they want you thinking that anyone can look like a genetic freak of nature. -- if you just keep following their plans, that is.

Please know that that you are not doomed by your genes.  Anyone can make astonishing improvements in their bodies with proper exercise and nutrition habits.  It's when we start comparing ourselves to the gals and guys in the infomercials that we get into problems, and get lost in that vicious circle of hype and sensationalism all too common in fitness and fat burning nowadays.

As mentioned before, you've got a life.  You're busy.  We all are.  We live in a hectic world, in the information age, where we have so many people to do and things to see and so little time to accomplish them.  I don't know about you, but I catch myself trying to cram too much into those few hours between waking up and going to sleep.  It's not easy.

Then come along the exercise gurus telling you that to lose fat and get into great shape you've got to work out every day or close to it.  You need to do aerobics to burn fat, many times a week.  You've got to weight train several more days a week, so that you are literally working out five or six days a week.  If you want it, you've got to do it, so they say.

Nothing could be further from the truth!  Many of these programs will also tell you that you've got to stick to some crazy diet to burn fat.  The plan might include cutting all or most of your carbs, cramming down lots of supplements, or gulping down magical weight loss potions.  Then, when their plans don't work, they'll tell you that everyone is different and that you've got to discover what works right for you.  Now, weren't they just telling you that their program guarantees the body on the cover?

What they are doing is keeping you in that fitness insanity pointed out before.  They keep you doing the same thing (trying the next hot product or diet and workout regimen) and promising the same great fat burning results.  If it doesn't work, they recommend the next great thing.  And too many people go on to that next magic product or promise, and the fitness industry uses this to their advantage!

Unfortunately the fitness industry has become, in many ways, a cycle of hype and sensationalism.  Sure, there are some conscientious trainers and professionals out there, but even some of them are being controlled by the gym owners, magazine publishers, and vitamin companies.  That's where the money is!  Even if they are attempting to help you, they can become unintentional accomplices to the system.

They advertise their products, programs, and diets by using the cream of the crop in the genetic gene pool.  "Hey, if it worked for that guy or gal with the awesome body, it will work for me."  Many people have fallen for it, also, many times.

Now, there are some "secrets" that few people are aware of.  Secrets and techniques that will never dominate the fitness industry's general recommendations because they are not popular with the people that control the industry.  Why?

Because these principles won't sell lots of silly exercise gimmicks, gizmos, or magic potions. Fat Burning Furnace students are schooled in the proper application of brief, progressive, and intense resistance training, eating a diet full of nutrient rich foods, drinking gallons of water, and getting plenty of quality sleep and relaxation.

But our subconscious mind is powerful, and you have to be skeptical. It's easy to get sucked into a compelling late night infomercial, even though we may know better. So you've got to stay on guard.

If people would pay more attention to proved principles like those in the Fat Burning Furnace program, and spend less time with the latest "butt buster" out there, we'd all be healthier, leaner, stronger, and happier for it. And we'd also be burning a a lot more fat in the process.

The world's most efficient process for fast and permanent fat loss is the "Fat Burning Furnace" process which aids people seeking to put an end to restrictive fad diets, long boring aerobic workouts, and the need for super-human willpower, permanently.

People will always be visual creatures. It would be nice to see more realistic images though.

You know, these kinds of products always conjure up the thought that if any of them really worked, we'd probably already have concluded which one, and we wouldn't have to come up with 700 new ways to do it each and every year.

WD-40 works. We know it works like a charm. Nuff said. Bring anything else to market. Fine. But WD-40 still works the best. We know this. It's no secret.

In the diet world we haven't found our WD-40 yet, and frankly I don't think we ever will. Other than the old tried and true; eat right, and exercise regularly.
